Checking Your Details
If you wish to verify the details you have submitted to Bright Essential Sdn. Bhd. you may do so by contacting us via the e-mail address or address given below. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information. This proof of identity will take the form of your e-mail address and password submitted upon registration. You must therefore keep this information safe as you will be responsible for any action which we take in response to a request from someone using your e-mail and password. We would strongly recommend that you do not use the browser’s password memory function as that would permit other people using your terminal to access your personal information.
Sales & Service Tax (SST)
Effective 1 September 2018, 6% SST will be charged on top of current room rates and will be collected by the hotel accordingly. A 6% SST exemption period is made effective from 3 Mar 2020 to 30 June 2021. 6% SST is applied to any bookings made within this exemption period for stays on 1 July 2021 onwards. 10% Service Charges are also imposed on all our prices effective 1 Nov 2019.
Tourism Tax Policy
A tourist tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent resident MY PR Card are exempted.
Booking Guarantee
For certain (non-refundable) rates or special offers, please note that the Hotel may require that payment is made upfront by credit card, and therefore your credit card will be charged (sometimes without any option for refund) upon making the reservation.
For any bookings where payment is to be made upon arrival, the Hotel may pre-authorize your credit card as a guarantee. Should there be any conditions where the credit card transaction has failed, the Hotel reserves the right to release the booking(s) by 4 pm (Hotel Local Time) on the day of arrival. Kindly check the rate details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation.
Hotel Policies:
Check-in & Check-out: All times indicated in the policies are expressed in the hotel’s local time (GMT +08:00).
Arrival time: 03:00 PM Full day surcharge is applicable on guests who arrive between 1.00 am to 10.00 am.
Departure time: 12:00 PM
Late Check-out Surcharge:
Before 6.00 pm: 50% off room rate;
After 6.00 pm: 100% room rate.
Age Restriction: The minimum age for check-in is 18
Children Policy: Children aged 6 and below stay free of charge, sharing existing bedding. Children 7 – 11 years old will be subjected to an additional charge that will be paid directly at the hotel. The maximum number of children allowed to stay for free is based on the room category.
Baby Cot Policy: A baby crib/cot is not available.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
Smoking: This property is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms. Guests caught violating this rule may be subjected to a fee.
Special Request Policy: All special requests are subject to availability and may incur supplement costs
Exchange Rate Policy: The exchange rate will be based on the property’s current posting.
Cancellation / Repayment: Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to accommodation type. Please check what conditions may apply to each option when making a selection.
Identification: Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. If the card owner is not the one staying at the hotel, the guest is required to present clear photocopies of the front (for your privacy, we only need the first 6 and last 4 digits) and back (mask the last 3 digits of your CVV number) of the credit card used, a valid government-issued photo ID of the card owner along with an authorization letter stating that the credit card holder has allowed the guest to use his/her card for the reservation.
